Joining Alan Biggs in The Ref Show studio this week were ex referees Dean Mohareb and Roger Dilkes to round up the Fourth Round action from the FA Cup and follow up on the much debated issue of VAR, which was used for the sixth time in English domestic football this weekend.

West Brom’s 3-2 win at Liverpool saw them progress to the Fifth Round of The FA Cup on Saturday night but the game didn’t go by without incident with the VAR being used on at least five occasions. One goal was ruled out, one was allowed and a penalty was awarded in an action packed tie but what did the panel think of its use following the game?

There’s also debate on the games at Stamford Bridge, Cardiff City Stadium and Meadow Lane where Notts County scored late on to ensure their name in the hat for the next round draw whilst Roger and Dean discuss Simon Hooper who will make his return to the Premier League this week at St James Park.
