On The Ref Show this week Alan Biggs was joined by former top Premier League officials Roger Dilkes and Keith Hackett to discuss and dissect the weekend football in the Premier League and Football League.

Jon Moss was a man under scrutiny after refereeing Crystal Palace’s 0-0 draw with Manchester City on Sunday. The runaway leaders invincible season continues, but the job of keeping that going became slightly more difficult with injuries to two key players. Hackett has recently been discussing the need to protect players more and the topic up for debate was the challenge that saw Kevin de Bruyne stretchered off the pitch after being hacked down by Jason Puncheon, Keith and Roger give their take.

In the Football League there was discussion on the performances of Peter Bankes and Tim Robinson whilst Keith tells us who he thinks should be placed in charge of English refereeing, something he believes is at an all time low.

The Ref Show returns to its normal time-slot next week Monday 15th January.
