Fulltime summary

AM at 2015-11-25 22:48:39

Pavel Kralovec has shown for me awesome fitness, he has been busily covering the entire length of the field of play for 90+ minutes without trouble. Also the referee was able to follow fast counter – attacks by sprinting rapidly for prolonged periods. This produced excellent positions for key match decisions (penalty area key areas) he also created generally close position to play and this supported his 3 yellow cards and he quickly defused a potential flare up at the end of this game as the frustration of 35 of MU and 4 of PSV was quickly and swiftly settled by a referee in full match control of this game. I have also mentioned good viewing angles, proximity to play and acceleration.

As for both Assistants they have supported Pavel very well just the one error on offside MU (41) from Slysko otherwise such was the referee`s reading of play and overall match control neither AR had to signal for 1 free kick.

Well done again Pavel Kralovec I was really impressed with your refereeing performance tonight and it is clear to see why you are in the UEFA Elite Group of Referees.

Pavel to date has been assertive and given an excellent outward impression. Very good stamina seen when running long distances and he has also showed a good running style and remained close to play even when there have been quick breaks in play.

18 minutes to play

AM at 2015-11-25 22:15:00

The referee is expertly allowing the players to play and just making interventions as and when is necessary

Recognition of challenges

AM at 2015-11-25 22:12:14

The Referee has to date;

Read fair of foul challenges well

Looked at the speed of the challenge

Message from the players?

Also Player`s reactions

All above areas have been positive to date, well done so far Pavel Kralovec..

65

AM at 2015-11-25 22:09:40

Free kick to MU – the referee would have received support from his ARR on the goal line and why not? that is exactly the additional benefit of being there extra pair of eyes looking in from the goal line

Goal kick to PSV – good teamwork here from AAR.2 Patak and our Referee

49

AM at 2015-11-25 21:55:25

Our referee tonight is giving himself time when he needs to and this is the attribute of a top referee.

AAR.I Ardeleanu makes a very good call from the goal line – gk to MU -no complaints here

47

AM at 2015-11-25 21:51:57

Very good early team work from the referee and Wilczek at a throw in-  he blows his whistle not sure outcome looks to Wilczek who then makes the decision -, this I can assure you is achieved through plenty of teamwork performances between these 2 they made that look easy

46

AM at 2015-11-25 21:49:24

Early corner kick to MU – again good penetration into the PSV penalty area by Kralovec

Man Utd to kick off

Half Time Summary4

AM at 2015-11-25 21:47:22

The Referee Pavel Kralovec has added to the entertainment of this game, he has shown real confidence and an air of composure as he has played some very good advantages. On the last advantage I think the clear fast movement and attack by PSV allowed Rooney`s reckless challenge to go unpunished particularly as the half time whistle then immediately came at the next stoppage and how often do you then see a retrospective yellow card on the half time whistle? one for discussion.

I have mentioned a good flexible and diagonal movement seen, efficient positioning, with a good anticipation of play, particularly as play enters the penalty areas.

AR.1. Roman Slysko has just made one key and clear error – 41 minutes MU player not offside in an important position close to PSV goal. Incorrect judgement. Otherwise good support.

AR. 2 Martin Wilczek – very good and low key support such is the referees overall control of this game.

41

AM at 2015-11-25 21:28:39

Offside incorrect judgement from AR Slysko as the MU player was clearly onside as the ball was played forward to him by a colleague and as confirmed by replay

40

AM at 2015-11-25 21:27:04

Further advantage to PSV again adds to the benefit of the game

39

AM at 2015-11-25 21:26:31

Lingard goes down in a challenge close to the edge of the PSV penalty area, no free kick is awarded as the referee moves away with play after a glance back, little player appeals – replays have just shown what a good decision it was..

36

AM at 2015-11-25 21:22:33

CK to PSV – Kralovec adopts a good static position to judge a foul on De Gea

32

Again AAR2. Michal Patak is well placed on the MU goal line with a positive body language as the ball is saved by De Gea

30

AM at 2015-11-25 21:17:41

AAR1 Petr Ardeleanu is well placed with a good positive body language to detect that the ball has not fully crossed over the PSV defending goal line

30 minute summary

AM at 2015-11-25 21:15:59

Pavel Kralovec has remained close to play (but not too close) not interfering with it – Flexible & Efficient Diagonal Movement noted – Enters the penalty area when necessary – Anticipative & Efficient Positioning

AM at 2015-11-25 21:11:38

MU player not offside as the ball does travel through to him – good non offside flag from Roman Slysko of SVK

23

AM at 2015-11-25 21:10:11

2 balls on the field of play and the referee correctly stops play until the spare ball is removed.

21

AM at 2015-11-25 21:08:53

Again as Martial enters the PSV penalty area the referees pace and acceleration gets him right in there to make a judgement – As the PSV GK collects the ball from Martial`s feet

20

AM at 2015-11-25 21:07:00

Take a look at the referees position at CKs with a clear positive view to detect any potential grappling

18

AM at 2015-11-25 21:05:27

To date the referee is achieving good proximity to play and very good angles / position / view as play in particular enters the PSV penalty area

17

AM at 2015-11-25 21:03:52

PSV sub 11 off and 7 on

16

AM at 2015-11-25 21:02:53

13

AM at 2015-11-25 21:00:29

Advantage to MU again a good clear signal from our referee – PSV player leaves the field of play due to injury quickly supervised by Kralovec

12

AM at 2015-11-25 20:59:14

Free kick to PSV and a calm word and smile towards Schnelderlin of MU.

8

AM at 2015-11-25 20:54:30

In our referee`s last match in this Country at Chelsea on 04.11.2015 I commented as follows on Pavel`s refereeing performance:

“Pavel Kralovec has shown us tonight why he is a UEFA elite referee – for me he has been overall correct and consistent in his punishment of fouls he has made a clear distinction between tackles for the ball or tackles on an opponent”.

5

AM at 2015-11-25 20:52:25

Free kick to MU there seemed a delay in its award, I did not pick up the whistle on that occasion?

4

AM at 2015-11-25 20:51:12

Free kick to PSV is given with a strong blast of a different whistle tone to what we are used to in The Premier League!

2

AM at 2015-11-25 20:49:43

Early  possession from MU then sees an acceleration of pace from Pavel Kralovec to achieve the best view / angle as play enters the PSV penalty area
