Tune into the ref show tomorrow talking about all this weekends decisions made by the referees.

MH at 2015-03-22 19:00:57

After all the recent controversies  surrounding match officials, it is really pleasing to say that in my opinion Michael was outstanding today. He managed the occasion, managed the players and he managed the event. When he had to stamp his authority on the game he did with 2 cautions that were nailed on. He won the respect of the players with his accuracy with his decision making and that comes with recognition of foul non foul and careless reckless offences. He also allowed the game to flow playing good advantages and was well supported by his two assistants. Well done to all the match officials on a first class display.

MH at 2015-03-22 18:52:49

Michael has blown his whistle to end a pulsating game,

Yellow CardCorrect decision. C21 cautioned for a reckless challenge on HC24.

MH at 2015-03-22 18:46:12

Another spot on off side call by assistant Gary Beswick.

MH at 2015-03-22 18:45:32

Nice to see the HC29 player apologise to Gary Beswick for a bit of dissent after a foul given against him on C26. Correct decision again for a foul by HC 24 on C2.

MH at 2015-03-22 18:41:01

Michael Oliver excellent not getting involved just letting the players play, that’s what it is all about.

MH at 2015-03-22 18:39:55

Earlier substitution for Chelsea,  C8 ON, C7 OFF

MH at 2015-03-22 18:38:52

MH at 2015-03-22 18:37:13

Substitution for Chelsea C5 ON C22 OFF.

MH at 2015-03-22 18:36:05

GOAL!Chelsea 19 off injured, C18 comes on and scores and changes the game. HC goal keeper will be very disappointed with the way he conceded the goal.

MH at 2015-03-22 18:32:41

Substitution for Chelsea C19 OFF, C18 ON

MH at 2015-03-22 18:30:10

Michael is getting into excellent positions giving him the ultimate viewing angle on his decision making. This comes with his fitness and movement.

MH at 2015-03-22 18:28:29

Micheal stops play after a neck injury to HC7.

MH at 2015-03-22 18:27:04

Good decision another free kick for Chelsea after a foul by Hull, Michael allowed the quick free kick correctly.

MH at 2015-03-22 18:24:49

Foul by C22 on HC.

MH at 2015-03-22 18:21:50

A triple save by the Chelsea keeper unbelievable.

MH at 2015-03-22 18:21:04

I would of thought anymore fouls by HC14 and C19 could result in a yellow card.

MH at 2015-03-22 18:19:58

A free kick to HC, C19 lucky to get away after a little kick on the HC keeper. C19 has to be careful.

MH at 2015-03-22 18:16:08

HC14 is playing on the edge.

MH at 2015-03-22 18:15:51

The Intensity is very high now, Michael may need to think about slowing the game down so it doesn’t run away with him.

MH at 2015-03-22 18:14:44

Correct decision, foul by HC14 on C19. As I said Michael has got to be aware of what is going on between these two players. Hopefully he is getting some help from his colleagues.

MH at 2015-03-22 18:12:32

Foul by HC27 on C22, home fans don’t like it but it is a foul all day long.

MH at 2015-03-22 18:11:39

Good off side by Gary Beswick, Michael has got to keep an awareness of what is going on between C19 and HC14.

MH at 2015-03-22 18:09:31

Good non off side flag by Jake Collin, once again Michael managing the players very well at the taking of a Chelsea corner.

MH at 2015-03-22 18:07:14

C4 just shoots wide, looks like the second half is continuing where the first half left off.

MH at 2015-03-22 18:06:14

First corner of the second half to Chelsea.

MH at 2015-03-22 18:02:41

Hull City to start the second half.

MH at 2015-03-22 17:53:45

What an excellent first half, let’s hope the second half is the same. Michael Oliver and his two assistants Gary Beswick and Jake Collin could be well pleased with their first 45 minutes. Michael has been excellent, he hasn’t been fussy, he has let the game flow and he has managed the players very well. Just one yellow card to Chelsea’s Gary Cahill which was fully justified.

MH at 2015-03-22 17:48:12

After 2 minutes stoppage time the referee blows for half time.

MH at 2015-03-22 17:47:39

Half Time

MH at 2015-03-22 17:47:00

That’s where the law is wrong HC28 gets injured after a challenge by C2, after receiving treatment in an attacking situation he has to go off.

MH at 2015-03-22 17:45:49

Foul by C2 on HC28, Michael in a great position definite foul.

MH at 2015-03-22 17:41:37

Correct decision no free kick for a foul on HC27, player went down to easy.

MH at 2015-03-22 17:39:51

Excellent flag by Gary Beswick for hand ball.

MH at 2015-03-22 17:39:32

The intensity has gone up in this game and Michael must remain fully focused and his concentration levels must be high.

MH at 2015-03-22 17:37:58

Well done Michael no foul.

MH at 2015-03-22 17:37:03

Sound man management by Michael after C19 not happy with challenge by HC4, calling the captain over to speak to the players.

MH at 2015-03-22 17:35:44

Good strong challenge by HC4 on C19.

MH at 2015-03-22 17:35:12

Good to see Steve Bruce sharing a joke with the officials perhaps he thought it could of been off side for the equalizer, no interference so assistant correct.

MH at 2015-03-22 17:29:22

What a mistake by the goal keeper C13 to give Hull the equalizer.

MH at 2015-03-22 17:28:14

GOAL!WHAT A GOAL 2 – 2 What a mistake by C13

MH at 2015-03-22 17:27:17

GOAL!HC 27, EXCELLENT ball through EXCELLENT goal.

MH at 2015-03-22 17:26:28

Good man management by Michael speaking to HC4 after a foul by him. Allowing advantage then coming back to speak to him.

MH at 2015-03-22 17:23:25

Corner to Hull City.

MH at 2015-03-22 17:22:53

With your accuracy in decision making this wins you the respect of the players which makes the game look easy for the referee.

MH at 2015-03-22 17:21:01

Foul to C7 correct.

MH at 2015-03-22 17:19:25

Michael’s positioning and movement is excellent at present as is his recognition of foul and non foul.

MH at 2015-03-22 17:16:20

50/50 challenge between HC21 and C19 no foul correct decision.

MH at 2015-03-22 17:15:09

MH at 2015-03-22 17:10:47

MH at 2015-03-22 17:05:13

Good first off side of the game by Jake, it shows what I said in my pre-match summery, you have got to be switched on from the first whistle

Just 3 minutes away from kick off.

MH at 2015-03-22 16:46:24

Good afternoon to you all and welcome to our second ref cam match of the day. Hull City V Chelsea, what should be a tough but exciting encounter. Hull City are showing signs of improvement since Mike Phelan arrived and Chelsea looking to extend their lead at the top. Their last encounter at Stamford Bridge in December was very controversial with Chelsea winning 2 – 0. Lets hope we are not talking about the referee today, incidentally it is Michael Oliver as we reported on ref cam had a excellent game at Manchester United V Arsenal in the FA Cup then not so good last weekend at West Brom V Stoke. Like everything it’s all about consistency which comes with confidence and being switched on from the first minute. Michael has to date refereed a total of 21 Premier League games showing 74 yellow cards, at an average of 3.5 and 5 red cards. He will be assisted by Gary Beswick and Jake Collin and 4th official is Mark Clattenburg which I cannot believe that our best referee is 4th official with all the key match errors that are happening week after week.
