That is that for the action form this one.
Arsenal were so far ahead of Chelsea that they quickly got out of sight.
3-0 was so deserved…and Chelsea failed to register a solitary effort on goal.
As for our referee…
Michael Oliver, for the second successive weekend, was outstanding.
All of the superlatives offered on him last week apply again tonight.
His confidence, game management and foul recognition were superb.
Michael, you can enjoy your very long drive home safe in the knowledge you played your part in an entertaining game of football.
Very well done.

We are at the end of the regular 90 minutes.
Just 3 minutes to be added as Arsenal extend their unbeaten run to eight.
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has a lot to think about if he is to bring back the glory times to Chelsea.
GT at 2016-09-24 19:12:00
Costa loses his cool and wants to chase Koscielny around!
Michael is all over the incident and sorts the Chelsea man out with a caution after he turns his anger on the referee.
Silly, silly man…
GT at 2016-09-24 19:08:41
Michael is right on the spot to see Xhaka commit a foul.
Free kick for Chelsea
GT at 2016-09-24 19:07:09
Just 10 minutes to go…
Have we seen the last of the goals for today?
GT at 2016-09-24 19:06:01
Olivier Giroud completes the substitutions as he takes over from the opening goal scorer, Alexis Sanchez
GT at 2016-09-24 19:03:29
Ozil isn’t happy, but Stuart Burt is correct again to call him offside as Arsenal press for that 4th goal
GT at 2016-09-24 19:01:43
Offside…Arsenal don’t get back quickly enough, and Stuart Burt correctly has play stopped
GT at 2016-09-24 19:00:51
Michael shows us all his impressive turn of speed as he stays with all of the players on a fast Chelsea break
GT at 2016-09-24 18:59:01
Chelsea make their final changes…
It’s Pedro and Batshuayi for Hazard and Willian
GT at 2016-09-24 18:56:43
Gibbs for Iwobi as Arsenal make a change
GT at 2016-09-24 18:56:11
Costa is getting frustrated, and will need managing carefully now.
He is not happy with the quality of ball he is being given
GT at 2016-09-24 18:53:10
Watch the little, discreet signals between referee and assistant.
A good example there as Stuart Burt had no idea which way that throw-in should go, but Michael gave a small signal which led Burt to raise his flag the correct way.
Everyone around will think ‘good decision, lino’ when it was actually his referee who helped him out
GT at 2016-09-24 18:49:26
Xhaka tugs Willian’s shirt, and a free kick follows as Michael spots that one too!
GT at 2016-09-24 18:47:05
With an hour gone, Oliver is showing how to stay out of a game.
He has the respect of the players and is able to stand aside and let Arsenal play.
Chelsea are not kicking, despite their frustrations, as they know this referee is right on top of the game.
Very well done, Michael.
GT at 2016-09-24 18:44:12
More superb advantage played by referee Oliver as Arsenal press forward yet again.
GT at 2016-09-24 18:43:12
Arsenal are falling over each other, as they queue up to score!
GT at 2016-09-24 18:41:45
Chelsea shake things up as Alonso replaces Fabregas
GT at 2016-09-24 18:40:39
Dreadful croos from Walcott…when it looked easier to pass the ball correctly.
That should have been four-nil and game over.
GT at 2016-09-24 18:39:31
Offside against Ozil, who is standing in an offside position.
Well seen Stuart Burt
GT at 2016-09-24 18:37:34
Foul by Costa on Mustafi.
Given (correctly) by assistant referee Gary Beswick.
GT at 2016-09-24 18:33:58
Correct offside against Arsenal (that’s the first one today) – good decision Stuart Burt
GT at 2016-09-24 18:32:13
Here we go for the second half.
And it’s Arsenal who get us under way.
GT at 2016-09-24 18:28:20
Arsenal haven’t beaten Chelsea in their last NINE League encounters, but that is looking like it will end today.
Or will it?
Can Chelsea get back into this one?

GT at 2016-09-24 18:23:25
A quick correction on the David Luiz incident (44 minutes)…Michael managed him without producing a card.
No caution for Luiz ….so far!
GT at 2016-09-24 18:20:56
That’s the end of the first half.
And what a first half it has been.
Not only did Arsenal treat us to a masterclass in passing and moving, but Michael Oliver was outstanding.
His confidence is clear for all to see…best shown in his part in the 2nd Arsenal goal when he played a lovely advantage in the build-up.
A faultless 45 minutes?
Yes, I think so…even after not cautioning Fabregas early in the game.
And why is that still faultless then?
Because his management of the game has meant that small point has not detracted from his control.
Another very, very good display from Michael, following his similar outing last week for Watford v Manchester United.
More of the same in the second half please, referee.
GT at 2016-09-24 18:17:37
GT at 2016-09-24 18:15:35
That’s the end of the first 45 minutes…2 additional minutes to go on
GT at 2016-09-24 18:15:09
and now it’s a caution for David Luiz following his latest foul.
Another good call, referee.
GT at 2016-09-24 18:14:19
Referee Oliver puts the cherry on the top of his cake as he brings back play for another free kick to Arsenal as the continue passing the ball around Chelsea
GT at 2016-09-24 18:12:45
Matic allows his frustrations to get the better of him as he loses the ball again.
free kick for Arsenal.
More good work by Michael
GT at 2016-09-24 18:11:38
This is becoming a walk-in-the-park for Arsenal.
Very little effort and endeavour being shown by Chelsea as Arsenal break swiftly again, and bury the third goal.
GT at 2016-09-24 18:10:20
Ozil continues the rout…
GT at 2016-09-24 18:07:16
Arsenal are playing their lovely brand of passing football, and Michael is refereeing the game so well that they are allowed to do so.
GT at 2016-09-24 18:05:32
@aberdarejack – not seen it, Steve, as I was busy preparing for this game.
From all I’ve read and heard, though, it sounds like a soft one
GT at 2016-09-24 18:03:19
Matic tries a cheeky handball…but there is no fooling Michael Oliver who correctly awards a free kick to Arsenal.
No need for a caution there…well done, referee.
GT at 2016-09-24 18:02:06
Arsenal are forced into a change as Coquelin is injured.
To be replaced by Xhaka
GT at 2016-09-24 18:00:20
Very good management of the free kick, too – as he gets Chelsea back every one of those 9.15 metres
GT at 2016-09-24 17:59:25
Big call by Michael…Ivanovic brings down Imobi…and the referee is spot on with his call.
Free kick just outside of the penalty area, and a caution for the Blues’ defender
GT at 2016-09-24 17:57:08
25 minutes have passed.
Can Chelsea get back into this one, or will Arsenal go on to even greater heights?

GT at 2016-09-24 17:54:05
Offside against Arsenal called by Gary Beswick…good decision
GT at 2016-09-24 17:50:25
It’s all Arsenal in these opening 20 minutes.
Michael is refereeing very, very well indeed.
Happy to let the players get on with it…but keeping an eye on challenges between Koscielny and Costa.
That is an excellent game plan.
GT at 2016-09-24 17:46:30
Whilst all of the praise for that goal will (deservedly) got to Arsenal for their passing…don’t overlook Michael Oliver’s part in that one.
He is refereeing with such confidence that he is unafraid to play advantage this early in the game.
And that advantage led to the Arsenal second goal.
Top, TOP refereeing, Michael.
GT at 2016-09-24 17:44:28
and the move from the advantage leads to a goal by Walcott
GT at 2016-09-24 17:43:30
Advantage played by Michael as Arsenal press again…good refereeing from a man oozing confidence.
GT at 2016-09-24 17:42:43
Gary Cahill gets caught in possession and is robbed by Sanchez.
Very similar to the goal Cahill conceded against Swansea…with one exception.
He was not fouled this time!
GT at 2016-09-24 17:41:28
GT at 2016-09-24 17:40:50
Fabregas gets away with one…he should have gone into the notebook for that late challenge
GT at 2016-09-24 17:39:25
Sanchez tries an effort which is deflected for a corner.
Good spot, referee
GT at 2016-09-24 17:37:39
Every time Copsta touches the ball, he is roundly booed by the Arsenal supporters.
Just something else the referee needs to deal with, as the fiery Chelsea hitman may well react to that as the game wears on
GT at 2016-09-24 17:35:03
Costa makes a good break down the right side, and is brought down by Koscielny.
Free kick to Chelsea….good decision Michael
GT at 2016-09-24 17:32:53
Early corner for Arsenal…but nothing comes from it
GT at 2016-09-24 17:31:47
Lively start at The Emirates, as expected.
These encounters are usually a bit tasty!
Michael will need to have his ‘A game’ with him today.
GT at 2016-09-24 17:30:16
Chelsea take the kick-off and get us underway…
GT at 2016-09-24 17:26:47
It’s almost time for kick-off at The Emirates Stadium.
GT at 2016-09-24 17:18:21
As for our officials today…
Michael Oliver deservedly gets the big game this week.
The 31 year-old, Northumberland whistler put in a very good performance last week when Watford turned over Manchester United.
Indeed, YATR followers voted his performance the best of the weekend in our regular Twitter poll.
Another showing like that one will continue to enhance the growing reputation of this much-respected official.
Gary Beswick and Stuart Burt run the lines today for Michael, with Craig Pawson working as fourth official.
We wish Michael and his team all the very best for a superb game of top flight football.
This should be a fascinating clash, so don’t go anywhere.
GT at 2016-09-24 17:11:32
Hi everyone, and welcome to today’s live Refcam commentary game.
We bring for you the game of the weekend between Arsenal and Chelsea.
The Gunners have won three in succession and so head into this one with their confidence sky-high.
In contrast, Chelsea have managed only one clean sheet all season yet still remain on the same number of points as their North London rivals (10).
The Blues did the double over Arsenal last season, however, in games littered with sendings-off for the Gunners.
The biggest challenge may, therefore, be not how the home team plays, but how their players conduct themselves…especially when faced with the provocation Diego Costa can bring.
With further wins today for leaders Manchester City, Liverpool and Spurs a draw is no use to either of these sides.
There should be plenty of action, don’t blink, because you may miss something.
Let us know who you believe will be triumphant by contacting us either on Twitter @youaretheref or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
