Bournemouth 2 West Brom 1 – Graham Scott

Fairly straightforward game for Graham but there was one incident where I couldn’t help find myself confused when he cautioned Bournemouth’s Adam Smith and West Brom’s Jake Livermore and then gave a free-kick to West Brom.

He was right to show Smith the yellow after he went in, in a reckless manner, but why Livermore is also shown a yellow  despite winning the free-kick simply doesn’t make any sense. If he felt they both went in reckless, then in law then you re-start play with a drop-ball, or you call it a 50/50 challenge and play on.

But all in all there were no major key match errors and onto the next one for Graham.
